After the stressful summer of trying to bring Stefan home, he has finally returned, but with a very powerful hybrid with a small army of his own hybrids. Klaus and his creations are now residing in Mystic Falls, causing havoc in the town and chaos for Elena and her friends. Stefan is still under Klaus' compulsion with his humanity off, which is only adding to the destruction in the town. Now that Klaus is back in town, his main goal is to only create more hybrids to build up an army. Why is Klaus building an army when he is the most powerful creature on Earth? No one but the Originals know. As he is on his quest to create more hybrids, his main goal is to capture Elena to use her blood for the rest of her human life. Rather than wanting to be a blood bag for the rest of her life, Elena and her friends are trying to secretly plot against Klaus, but with the lack of knowledge of how to kill him, it's a difficult task. As if Klaus wasn't enough trouble, another dark entity is entering the town - a witch named Honorata. Having run for centuries for a reason that she does not speak of, she is attracted to the highly supernaturally filled town. The dark aura has drawn her here, and she plans on drawing on the energy given off by it's supernatural inhabitants to enhance her power. No one knows that this mysterious witch has mastered the darkest form of magic - expression. Will the gang be able to elude the chaos that has taken over the town?
